24/06/2009 - Hot Weather Health Tips

A client & carer

Some weather forecasters are predicting a hot summer this year and this could cause problems for the elderly or housebound. Download our free Hot Weather Guide with hints and tips on how to look after yourself during hot weather.

If we believe some of the long-range weather forecasts, it seems we could be in for a very hot summer this year.  While this is something many of us look forward to, a prolonged period of hot weather can be a problem for some people, particularly the elderly or housebound.

We have been looking after people in their own homes for over 20 years and have plenty of experience with the difficulties hot weather can cause, so we have produced a simple booklet with hints and tips on how to look after yourself in hot weather, which you can download here: Guide To Looking After Yourself (and others) in Hot Weather

"I cannot speak highly enough of the carers who come to me. I would be completely devastated and lost without them. It's so nice to have the same girls regularly, I feel so comfortable with them. Thank You"
