"I really couldn't be without them. It is lovely to have a carer, they do help you".

Candlelight clients Stroke Recovery

Stroke

Having a stroke can be life-changing but it shouldn’t mean having to move out of your home.

Much can be done at a practical level to ensure that people who have survived a stroke and other related illnesses continue to live as independently as possible in their own home.

This is why Candlelight Homecare have put in place a highly trained team who specialise in caring for Stroke survivors once they are back in their own homes. They understand the effects that a stroke can have on the stroke survivor, their family and friends.

People recovering from a stroke may need help in many different ways and Candlelight’s full range of homecare services can be adapted to meet individual needs.
